ATJ Cares is a Chicago-based nonprofit dedicated to developing skills and potential in inner city youth. We teach youth intro to the trades, professional development, and soft skills through our mentorship programs. We also support inner city communities through food drives, volunteer days, and community revitalization. From events to help elders with free home repairs to supporting youth with internships, we make a difference.

Youth Development & Mentorship
We offer a range of programs designed to equip young people with valuable skills and knowledge. Our introduction to the trades program provides hands-on experience in various fields, helping youth discover potential career paths. We also focus on professional development, teaching critical skills such as resume building, interview techniques, and workplace etiquette. Additionally, our soft skills training enhances communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities, ensuring that our participants are well-rounded and prepared for any challenge.
Community Support & Engagement
ATJ Cares is deeply involved in supporting and revitalizing inner-city communities. We organize regular food drives to address food insecurity and ensure that families have access to nutritious meals. Our volunteer days bring together community members to engage in meaningful service projects, fostering a sense of unity and purpose. Through our community revitalization efforts, we work to improve the living conditions in our neighborhoods, from organizing clean-up days to renovating the homes of senior citizens in need.
Our programs are game changers. Our President has created success professionally and will utilize the skills he’s learned over the years to help Chicago-area youth. We truly represent the communities we serve!

Meet Our President…
Anthony Jones, Jr.
Originating from Broadview, IL, Anthony Jones, Jr. is the President of A.T. Jones Mgmt a General Contracting company collaborating with various entities to channel investment into underserved Chicago areas. With a diverse background spanning business, sports, and philanthropy, Anthony pursued Business Marketing at Alabama State University. After a rewarding 12-year career in the corporate space, Anthony transitioned from corporate world to an entrepreneurship playground.
A former semi-professional baseball player, his determination transcends sports, driving his achievements in business and community involvement. Recognized for his philanthropy, he actively champions education, youth empowerment, and community development. Anthony continues to motivate others through his actions, embodying perseverance, leadership, and social responsibility, leaving a lasting mark on both the business realm and his local community.
